Lone Star College wanted to shift prospective students’ thinking from the journey to the destination: graduation and all that comes after. In this, they also wanted to shift the notion of success from something Lone Star College provides them and into something students achieve themselves, with Lone Star College as their support system. With Hierarchy at the helm of these messaging shifts, we were tasked with creating a high-energy, integrated enrollment campaign that included video assets, photography, and a fresh design system to be handed off to internal teams across Lone Star College’s nine campuses.
With the goal of disrupting what a community college system can look and feel like, we created our enrollment-record-breaking “Picture This” campaign. Leveraging engaging patterns and striking colors along with high-movement visuals, we created an integrated campaign of billboards, broadcast television, radio, streaming video and audio, and digital display that invited potential students to picture themselves not just attending Lone Star College, but finding success that carries them long after they walk across the graduation stage.

Lone Star College had a record-breaking enrollment year, welcoming 91,885 students in the fall.
